Repair and overhaul service
We design and manufacture our products to last as long as reasonably possible. They are built to be repaired and we can repair them if they become damaged in service, subject to the normal economics.
If you want to send a unit back to us from outside the European Union please mark all the paperwork, including the carrier's paperwork, clearly with "CPC 510 001". This is the code that alerts the customs authorities that it is a unit being temporarily imported for repair or overhaul. This means that they do not charge duty on it (which in turn we will charge you) and will typically save about 5% depending on which country you are sending from. If you want to read more about CPC codes please go here. The customs authorities are becoming very strict on this at the moment. This does not apply if you are inside the European Union.
Please include a letter or note inside the box of any unit that you send back to us. Include your name, contact details, and what you think is wrong. You should assume that any paperwork on the outside of the box will be removed in transit !
If we have repaired a unit for you and you do not respond to our attempts to contact you then we reserve the right to scrap or otherwise dispose of the unit.
